I hear the Wanderlust

This is my post for the island hopping in Camiguin. Kelangan separate post kasi bonggels ang island. Trust me, all in automatic mode ang camera ko but still ganda ng shot! Is it because of my Olympus pen or the nature itself? White Island is just few minutes away from where we stayed at. It's best to island hop from 5am, yes bukang liwayway palang umalis na kayo, until 8am as it is really hot na after that hours. FYI: There's no trees, nipa hut or anything where you can you rest and get a shaded area. It is solely compose of white sand and beach! Best to  bring a parasol or umbrella if you will be staying long in the island. sabi nga nila, after 9am lumulubog na daw un island.. means to say, no more sand bar where you can rest.  That's the Mt Hibok Hibok and Mt Vulcan. Hiyaaahh!! It's ber month and Im back on backpacking and beaching mode! Oh yeah, nobody cant stop me from exploring every niche of the PI.. :p   This time, I went to Northern Mindanao with my solemate and his friends. First, we went CDO for the white water rafting - see next blog. The morning after, we went straight to Camiguin. From Cagayan de Oro, we went to Agora Market Terminal to catch the first trip to  Balingoan Bus Terminal. From Balingoan terminal we took a tricycle (10pesos each)  to the ferry terminal bound to Port of Benoni in Camiguin. Fare is 170 PHP / Terminal fee is 2.50pesos and travel time is 1 hour - 1 and 45mins (depends if it is a fast craft or not)  The 5am ferry that we took was not! We almost didn't make this trip! Were were 5minutes late of our flight due to heavy traffic in Sucat coz of storm. Yah, Manila was under storm then and the night before that, we were kinda thinking if we should back out. But our friends who had their flights one day earlier than us were able to reach Northen Mindanao without any probs. They even told us that twas so hot in CDO! Hooray to that! Arrived CDO  at 10am and sun was kinda unforgivable. Airport is small. We took a taxi going to our hotel. I thought the dialect here are the one used in Mindanao but they're using a Visayan dialect. :)) uhuh,  CDO was dubbed as the City of Golden Friendship Yay! We were in Region 10!!
