Bohol Coco Farm

A detailed itinerary of our Bohol tour last November.

This is supposed to be for a 6 pax tour but Pau's parents and siblings backed out. Anyway, we got our tickets a year ago with 500 pesos worth of RT fare only so it's really not a big thing to cancel their flights. haha!

We stayed for 2 nights at Bohol Coco Farm and also availed their Countryside tour. It was supposed to be a night of stay only but since we can't decide yet where to stay at our 2nd and 3rd night, we have decided to just stay for another night.

From the airport, take a tricycle and go to the Jeepney Terminal at Bohol Museum it costs 10 pesos and take a jeepney bound to  TAWALA then tell the driver that your stop is at Bohol Coco Farm. Jeepneys are available only until 6 pm, it costs 20 pesos only. It's a 20-30mins jeepney ride.

Or you may take a cab or tricycle directly going to Bohol Coco farm but it would cost you 250 pesos or more.

It's quite a busy day. We need to queued up just to get our slot.

Halata ba? I was not comfy here. But hell, it's way cheaper than taking a tryk!

Once you alight from the jeepney, it will be a long walk going to the main entrance but it's a good exercise anyway.

We had the private hut for only 800 pesos with free breakfast for 2 already! Unli coffee and free wifi at their resto. Plus all organic food is so delish! For solo backpackers, it's only 350 each including the breakfast! That's a steal!

This is our hut accommodation with a fan. Since it has a high ceiling, it's quite cold, especially at midnight.
Just bring bug repellent because this is a farm there's plenty of insects.

There's a lot of things you could do here. There are hammocks where you could just chill the whole day.

Most of the visitors here were foreigners. Backpackers.

Our free breakfast.

We had our Bohol countryside tour from Bohol Coco farm. You just have to register at the restaurant and your name will be listed on the board. Usually, it is a group tour - will be joined by other backpackers. The tours are cheaper compared to any other tour I found online.

By the way, this farm is just across the Alona beach, errr 15-20mins walk to Alona beach. You may rent a motorbike from the farm or hire somebody for RT transfer to Alona beach.

This place is best if you will be doing the Balicasag, Countryside, or Firefly watching tour since you will be out of your room the whole day. Then should you wished a beach view, you may transfer accommodation somewhere in Alona beach a day after that - this is what we did.
