Side trip at Cebu
This is our last day in Cebu. Since we got the latest flight going back to Manila, we have decided to have a side trip in the queen city.
We rented a taxi for 1,200 pesos and we went to Taoist Temple and TOPS.
Here's the snapshots.
Taoist Temple is located in Beverly Hills Subdivision.
This is open to the worshipers and non-worshipers alike
There are said to be 81 steps representing the 81
chapters of the Taoism scriptures. When you reach the top, you can light joss sticks and have your fortune read!

However, picture taking is not allowed inside the temple but you have the liberty to roam around outside to take a photo souvenir.
At the entrance of the temple, you will see the replica of the Great Wall of China and on the balconies, you will see the scenic view of the downtown Cebu.
taking turns on photo ops since we didn't bring our tripod.. hehehe!
Since this is a temple, you need to observe silence and the staff/crew or whatever you call them are prohibited to take a picture of the guest or worshipers.
now, les go in Tops...
TOPS in Busay Hills.
Tops is about 2000 above sea level and it has about 1 hectare in area. The main ground is decorated by concretes in hexagon form and withered Bermuda grasses.

There's souvenir shop, cafe, and store selling snacks and drinks.
Open kiosks are available for daytime picnics and instant evening parties.
Viewing deck and main ground
Below is the covered area where you could eat your snacks.
I just love how they designed the curves and circles concrete stone resting area.
Thanks to our taxi driver for this photo... hahahaha!
I enjoyed banging the old bell here and I didnt know it comes with an instructions! lols
Here it is:
"The bell has a soothing sound that seems to linger in one ears. This sound best signifies the feeling of endless bonding between individuals. Partners around the world have long used this sound to portray their lasting relationships or feelings for one another. This could be used in a business partnership, true friendship or to symbolize everlasting love.
Directions for use:
Standing face to face, or around in a circle (for groups), hold hands to unite the bond. With the other hand, ring the bell ONCE for a firm partnership, TWICE for lasting friendship, or THREE TIMES to symbolize never-ending Love. Repeat the process on anniversaries to strengthen the bond!
For special celebrations, the bell may be rung repetitively.
so there you have it, my Cebu's adventure. Im hoping that we could go back in the Queen City.... soooonnnn!
