Come Again in Camiguin - Countryside Tour

Hiyaaahh!! It's ber month and Im back on backpacking and beaching mode! Oh yeah, nobody cant stop me from exploring every niche of the PI.. :p   This time, I went to Northern Mindanao with my solemate and his friends. First, we went CDO for the white water rafting - see next blog. The morning after, we went straight to Camiguin. From Cagayan de Oro, we went to Agora Market Terminal to catch the first trip to  Balingoan Bus Terminal. From Balingoan terminal we took a tricycle (10pesos each)  to the ferry terminal bound to Port of Benoni in Camiguin. Fare is 170 PHP / Terminal fee is 2.50pesos and travel time is 1 hour - 1 and 45mins (depends if it is a fast craft or not)  The 5am ferry that we took was not! Bohol Coco Farm

A detailed itinerary of our Bohol tour last November. This is supposed to be for a 6 pax tour but Pau's parents and siblings backed out. Anyway, we got our tickets a year ago with 500 pesos worth of RT fare only so it's really not a big thing to cancel their flights. haha! We stayed for 2 nights at Bohol Coco Farm and also availed their Countryside tour. It was supposed to be a night of stay only but since we can't decide yet where to stay at our 2nd and 3rd night, we have decided to just stay for another night. From the airport,  take a tricycle and go to the Jeepney Terminal at Bohol Museum it costs 10 pesos and take a jeepney bound to  TAWALA then tell the driver that your stop is at Bohol Coco Farm. Jeepneys are available only until 6 pm, it costs 20 pesos only. It's a 20-30mins jeepney ride. Or you may take a cab or tricycle directly going to Bohol Coco farm but it would cost you 250 pesos or more. It's quite a busy day. W...

Side trip at Cebu

This is our last day in Cebu. Since we got the latest flight going back to Manila, we have decided to  have a side trip in the queen city. We rented a taxi for 1,200 pesos and we went to Taoist Temple and TOPS. Here's the snapshots. Taoist Temple is  located in Beverly Hills Subdivision. This is open to the worshipers and non-worshipers alike There are said to be 81 steps representing the 81  chapters of the Taoism scriptures. When you reach the top, you can light joss sticks and have your fortune read! However, picture taking is not allowed inside the temple but you have the liberty to roam around outside to take a photo souvenir.
