My version of "Your Guide to El Nido"


All I can say was "WOW" I was in awe with the beauty of El Nido. Been to 20 islands and it just cost me 2400php worth of tour fees.

Yay, it's only 2400 for you to be able to see the wonders of El Nido. Oh diba, the "pricey" thinggy tag on El Nido is so wrong!

I will list my expenses below for your reference. Of course it is not 2400 only for the entire trip. We rented a room for 3d2n and spent a lot of food and souvenirs.

Okay, here's my story... magbasa ng mabuti ha... :P



From Puerto Princesa Airport we walked for few meters and hailed a tricycle going to Junction (Just across Municipal Hall)- 20php for two of us

Jeepney ride going to San Jose terminal - 8 php each

Lexus, Fort Wally, Eulens, Roro have different terminals so it is recommended to have a reserved seats for you para the jeepney driver could assist you on which bus stop to go na rin.


We rode on Lexus, they told us they have 9:30am schedule, 8:30 palang andun na kami and it's so hot at maalikabok pa. Came 10:00am waley pa un van!! Grabeh, we left at exactly 10:15. Arrived El Nido MArket - Terminal at around 3:30pm. So it's approximately 5hours drive din.

We had 3 stop over including lunch at Bottega, Roxas.

Sulit un food. 70 pesos rice meal and take note it's a big Lapu-Lapu.



The view outside the store is super nice din.

From El Nido Market -Terminal, you just need to ride a tricyle going to your hotel. We paid 20 pesos going to Northen Hope where we have to meet Ate Neriza.

Our place is just few minutes walk from the Bacuit bay. 
we have spotted some foreigners who enjoyed their time swimming in the bay. But it is not that cleaned since this is a docking area for the boats to be used in island hoppings.




Expenses:









In combination tour, you wont be able to see all of the islands but at least un magaganda lang un pupuntahan nio. Un iba kasi pare pareho lang so I would recommend the combi tour if you're on a tight budget and on tight schedule. On our case, we only had 4 days in El Nido that is why we opt to got this and super S.U.L.I.T! :)

hmmm... Aquria, Playa Calatagan

It's a long weekend na naman, kaya we have decided to lay down on the sand under the sun. My skin is still tanned and havent been recovered from yesterday's outing with my family in Lipa and yet again we have this biglaang lakad. We went to Aquaria last Sunday as we thought that we would be able to enjoy the solemnity of the place but I was wrong. Forgot that since it's a long weekend, a lot of people will be on leave as well and will rush to the beach for the last few weeks of summer. We didnt bring a car for I wanted to learn how to commute to Calatagan  (sometimes it better if youre lost - that's my fav tagline) and I also thought that it is just a piece of cake since we will be coming from Batangas. Come Again in Camiguin - Countryside Tour

Hiyaaahh!! It's ber month and Im back on backpacking and beaching mode! Oh yeah, nobody cant stop me from exploring every niche of the PI.. :p   This time, I went to Northern Mindanao with my solemate and his friends. First, we went CDO for the white water rafting - see next blog. The morning after, we went straight to Camiguin. From Cagayan de Oro, we went to Agora Market Terminal to catch the first trip to  Balingoan Bus Terminal. From Balingoan terminal we took a tricycle (10pesos each)  to the ferry terminal bound to Port of Benoni in Camiguin. Fare is 170 PHP / Terminal fee is 2.50pesos and travel time is 1 hour - 1 and 45mins (depends if it is a fast craft or not)  The 5am ferry that we took was not!
