TAAL BASILICA

hmmm... Im from Batangas  that's why I always have the chance to go to the Asia's oldest church which is St. Martin de Tours of Taal... but one day my boyfie and I decided to climb at the Tore of Taal church.. at first I didnt like my bf's idea since Im really afraid of heights but we still decided to try it just for the heck of adventure.. twas creepy, I mean the way up.. coz its too old, too dark and the old stonewalls look like weak and will break anytime! I heard some bats as well and the smell wasn't that nice.. but definitely the view from top was indeed breath taking! You can see the entire city of Taal, the market and the Municipality. Its kinda windy as well so its not really advisable to stay that long since it doesnt have fences.

Before you can go there, you need to visit the main office so they could have you assisted by their guards or sakristan since it's not really safe. Then a little donation wont hurt your pocket, I guess. We gave 50 pesos for the church. hehehehe! hope you enjoy the snipets..

PS: There's a lot of old houses in Taal so make sure to bring your camera and take photos of 'em.

I will try to share a photoblog about Taal houses one of these days..
