Taal Mountain View and Lake Resort

Hello there! It's been ages since I last wrote my blog here. I've been preoccupied with a lot of things these past few months thus I can't travel as often as I want. I just purchased a new camera that is why I demanded Paulo that we need to travel so we could use my GoPro and test it on water (just my alibi). Since he doesn't have enough leaves as he is just new on his company, we just decided to trek on his Lolo's resort in Batangas. We called it HINGAL Beach, coined from the word "hingal" itself. Because you need to trek for an hour and traverse the unpaved road to get into the lake. This is located in Sta, Teresita Batangas. His grandparents own the 3 hectares of land area. This is currently for sale as well. hihi! His house is just near the road going to the starting point of the trek so we woke up at 545AM and started our lil adventure. hmmm... Im from Batangas  that's why I always have the chance to go to the Asia's oldest church which is St. Martin de Tours of Taal... but one day my boyfie and I decided to climb at the Tore of Taal church.. at first I didnt like my bf's idea since Im really afraid of heights but we still decided to try it just for the heck of adventure.. twas creepy, I mean the way up.. coz its too old, too dark and the old stonewalls look like weak and will break anytime! I heard some bats as well and the smell wasn't that nice.. but definitely the view from top was indeed breath taking! You can see the entire city of Taal, the market and the Municipality. Its kinda windy as well so its not really advisable to stay that long since it doesnt have fences. Before you can go there, you need to visit the main office so they could have you assisted by their guards or sakristan since it's not really safe. Then a little donation wont hurt your pocket, I guess. We gave 50 pes...
