HINGAL BEACH

Image
It's not the real name of this beach, actually, it doesnt have name at all. The people just called it so because it's "nakakahingal" to go there. Indeed it's true! I thanked the grandfather of Pau for having us used his jeep coz without it, we are deads! hahaha! From Lipa City, ride a bus or a jeepney (bound to Lemery) going to Sta Teresita. This place is co-owned by Pau's grandfather and they are currently looking for a buyer. We decided to have it checked before somebody buys and retires on this lovely place.. There's a smooth road on the first part of the trip.. but on the latter part, it's kind of dusty. This place is ideal for those who wants to trek. Im not in the mood to trek and we were also time constraint. We wanted to go back at the house before evening. It's Mt Makulot on the backdrop I was informed that this is the first Taal Ch...

Fish Tayo! - Palaisdaan, Tarlac

We went north and stopped over for lunch to have a gastronomical treat. Ooohhh, we were so effin hungry because of long road trip from Batangas and thanks God for the Palaisdaan in Tarlac! All of the food were delish! I'll give the place a 10-spoon rating!  It is located along the highway in Tarlac. Actually, the resto has a lot of life-size figures, like President Erap Aquino couple, Monroe and etc.. Inside there's a lot of Buddha, Monkey and fish figures. see, that's how big this Buddha is! I cant count how many they have here.. we've choosen to eat at the balsa... We were serenaded by the choir of Palaisdaan while waiting for our fudams. They are offering a free massage as ...

TAAL BASILICA

Image
hmmm... Im from Batangas  that's why I always have the chance to go to the Asia's oldest church which is St. Martin de Tours of Taal... but one day my boyfie and I decided to climb at the Tore of Taal church.. at first I didnt like my bf's idea since Im really afraid of heights but we still decided to try it just for the heck of adventure.. twas creepy, I mean the way up.. coz its too old, too dark and the old stonewalls look like weak and will break anytime! I heard some bats as well and the smell wasn't that nice.. but definitely the view from top was indeed breath taking! You can see the entire city of Taal, the market and the Municipality. Its kinda windy as well so its not really advisable to stay that long since it doesnt have fences. Before you can go there, you need to visit the main office so they could have you assisted by their guards or sakristan since it's not really safe. Then a little donation wont hurt your pocket, I guess. We gave 50 pes...
